Support Staff:
DAISY HERNANDEZ
She is the one that we can turn to in emergencies, computer jobs that need doing that she has never done before, anything from folding brochures to running the office.
Daisy is never afraid to learn something new.
To us here at Blue Violet she is little sister, friend, responsible employee and a very valued member of the family.
She came to us from California and I swear she carries sunshine with her where ever she goes!
SUSAN MCNAMARA
Susan McNamara, Marketing Director for Blue Violet Body Works, Inc. Susan came to Blue Violet in October of 2009. She brought with her a positive outlook and "can do" attitude. Susan is an excellent communicator and I am fairly certain she never met a stranger. Susan is our representative at Chamber of Commerce Meetings, BNI (Business Networking Group for the Elgin Area), as well as any other place that would be an opportunity to promote Blue Violet. Susan set up our Facebook Fan Page as well as got us LinkedIn. With Susan as our representative we are confident that our business is being promoted with enthusiasm, information and style. We are very proud to have Susan as a member of the Blue Violet group.
You've heard the word Renaissance, meaning rebirth & revival? That is the very definition of Susan. She is able to assist us in so many creative ways and it is obvious she truly loves what she does. She has gone from management and business development for the banking industry to marketing. Susan also has been known to do landscaping for profit and pleasure. She is a very generous person and is quick to praise and support others. Interesting facts about Susan: Her son saved her life on her birthday October 31, 2007. He received an award from the fire dept. for the way he responded and made the front page of the paper. She received an award from Dekalb County for positive community involvement in 2006. Has a training certificate for proper fitting of a prosthesis for Breast Cancer Patients. Susan has 2 children, Jessica and Jerred. She lives in Hampshire and loves to walk, especially in Lake Geneva.
Her favorite quotations are: "What lies behind us What lies before us Are SMALL matters Compared to what lies within us." and "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
TARI NEWMAN
Tari comes to us via Omaha, St. Louis, Denver, and Kansas City. When you move that much you had better not be shy!
She has been a movie theatre greeter (complete with gold jacket AND flashlight! Age 13), she worked her way up to candy counter and then she progressed to Graphic Artist, Manager of the Poco Shop in old Downtown Denver, Production Artist at 'The Ad Agency' as well as line illustrator and copy writer, night manager of a company that printed Catholic Church Bulletins while studying for her hairdresser license. She cut hair at Saks 5th Ave. in St. Louis, went back to graphic arts in Kansas City for a prepress company called Horst Graphics. There she was account manager to three national check companies, a clothing line, and a lobster tool company. She also did production art, prepress and computer graphics. Actually there were lots more jobs but I got tired of typing and she is old.
Here at Blue Violet Tari is a writer, computer geek, designer, public relations, cashier, greeter, brain stormer, phone answerer, friend, and support system . . . well, you get the idea.
Barb is always saying that there wouldn't be a Blue Violet without her. I can vouch for the fact that every time she says it, Tari is very happy to hear it.
